A little more than 2 years ago, we decided to found this site to document the failures of the socialized medicine scheme known as Obamacare. At the time, we here at ObamacareFail knew what the results would be; Increased Premiums,Astrnomical Costs,and at the end of the day poorer quality care and less freedom for all.
No, we did not make use of a crystal ball to determine what these realities which are on display for everyone to see. Rather, we have studied the results of socialized medicine and centrally planned economies throughout the world. While the Soviet Union may have collapsed, the fact is there are still people who believe in the espoused philospohies of Marx and Lenin. As President Reagan aptly pointed out in 1983, societies based on the principles of Marx and Lenin are doomed to end up on “the ash heap of history.”

As Obamacare is based on the belief that everyone is forced to purchase healthcare, we have no doubt a Constitutionally minded Supreme Court devoid of special interests and personal ideology will declare this law to be Un-Constitutional. There were some during this week who claimed previous Supreme Court cases, such as 1942’s Wickard v. Filburn justify this law under the interstate commerce clause of The Constitution. Nonesense. Regardless of the so called legal merits of the Wickard v. Filburn case, which arose from FDR’s New Deal, one needs to take a look at the Supreme Court which made that ruling. In the early part of FDR’s administration, most of his New Deal economic planning schemes were deemed to be Un-Constitutional. The so called “Four Horseman,” Constitutionally minded, led the court in this direction. However, by 1942, the Four Horseman had retired from the Supreme Court, leaving Roosevelt sympathizers and appointees on the court. It is no wonder the Wickard v. Filburn ruling ultimately favored the Roosevelt Administration’s interventionist policies.

The point of bringing this case up is that many in the media have decided not to talk about the realities in 1942, just as they have omitted the ways in which Obamacare was passed through Congress back in March 2010. Never do they mention the Stupak Controversy , The Cornhusker Kickback , The Louisiana Purchase , nor the False Promises , or supposed deficit reducing gimmicks.

They also fail to point out that instead of focusing on how to cure what ails the US economy, President Obama chose to focus the treasury, his energies, and political capital into passing Obamacare.
The choice between President Obama and Mitt Romney cannot be clearer this November.

Why should companies continue to foot the bill for health insurance when Obamacare provides everyone the same poor, inefficient, cruel, and morally corrupt healthcare services? Hey at least everyone is covered!

Purported Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich was a guest on Meet The Press today, proving once again he is unfit to be President. Among other things, his comments about socialized medicine under Obamacare should completely disqualify him from becoming the Republican nominee. Apparently Gingrich, like many leftists, think the Obamacare mandate that everyone buy health insurance is the same as being required to buy auto insurance. Shame on them. The fact is not everyone owns a car. Not necessarily because they can’t afford to buy a car, but some don’t have a car because they don’t want one. Would Mr. Gingrich support an effort to get everyone to buy auto insurance just because there is the possibility that one day they may come into contact with a car? This comparison is a joke. A mandate of buying healthcare, which socialized medicine under Obamacare calls for (and apparently Newt Gingrich supports), is essentially a tax on living, as we saw a judge rule earlier this year. Isn’t it interesting that President Obama actually thought that implementing a NEW government program would actually reduce the deficit? Watch him explain how socialized medicine under Obamacare would do more than anything else to help reduce the deficit.

Watch Milton Friedman explain the four ways to spend money. Since government bureaucrats will spend your money to implement socialized medicine under Obamacare, we can all look forward to higher costs and decreased care quality unless this program is repealed.

As to why resistance to Obamacare is so high. In an article about how sucessfull Obamacare today on Politico.com Sarah Kliff writes “Despite their best efforts, tea party activists could not stop Congress from passing health reform last year.” As an astute reader of ObamacareFail.com, you realize that this is a ridiculous way to start an article about Obamacare. Perhaps Sarah Kliff was not following the Obamacre debate last year as closely as you probably were. First of all, if she had, she would understand the so called ‘tea-party activists’ and others who were opposed to socialized medicine under Obamacare were NOT then, and have never been against passing ‘health-reform.’ They were and still are against government controlled healthcare which is what Obamacare is and always has been. Obamacare champion John Dingel admitted it shortly after passage last year. To hear him in his own words Click Here. Republicans have long argued for healthcare litigation reform and for allowing people to buy health insurance across state lines. Perhaps Sarah Kliff also missed esteemed economics professor Dr. Thomas DiLorenzo’s brilliant healthcare analysis back in October 2009 which explained why healthcare is a problem today and provided solutions that would actually work. 3/21 Marks 1 year since socialized medicine under Obamacare passed The House of Representatives. As we get further from that day, it is important to remember what the vote count was: 219 were in favor and 212 were against. All 178 Republicans and 34 Democrats voting against. Hopefully, one day Obamacare will be history and we will no longer have to monitor what is going on. If the Republicans are not foolish in 2012 and are able to re-capture The White House, there is an outside chance socialized medicine under Obamacare will be gone for ever.
